Well, well. Looks like boring moldy ol' opera is nearly as big as American football, admissions wise (ht: ACD).

I'm thinking some billboards along the lines of:

"Opera: Like Football for Sensitive People"

...might win some converts. At least you don't have to worry about rooting for dog-torturers.
